2 great days of racing...click HERE to view full meet results. We finished 2nd out of 4 teams, behind Cal and ahead of Kutztown and East Stroudsburg (moving up 1 spot from last year!). I didn't get a chance to take any pictures via the iphone, but will try to steal a few from facebook.
Returning all american, Britt Rehrig had a great meet with 4 PSAC cut times, including a NCAA b cut in the 50 free, also good enough for an all time top 5 performance (3rd)...and a new pool record in the 100 breast. But she wasn't the only swimmer with some great swims to name just a few...Freshman Kayla Schnars lead the way in backstroke, Senior Rachel Vagnoni stepped into her own in the breaststroke races. Sophomore Kristen Capretti broke out with some fast free swims and although freshman Carley Nitchie breaths wayyyy too much in a 50 free her times are pretty close to her best ever. Junior Shannon Milstead picked up right where she left off at PSACs last year. Our distance crew showed they can swim fast ... all of them (in comparing to last year's meet) were significantly faster.
Next up is Mansfield at home this Wednesday...I will get the stats and top time etc updated after Wednesday.
