Week 1

Our first week of classes has come and gone. We ‘enjoyed’ our first team meeting (a shade over 90 minutes…I am a bit of a talker) followed by the next evenings NCAA meeting with the administration.

This was my 4th ‘welcome back’ team meeting and afterwards I couldn’t help but to think about the first one. There weren’t even enough people to fill up the seating at the picnic tables outside of Zimmerili. Last year we were able to sit on the benches in the hallway outside of the spectator seating in the pool. I naively thought we could go there again this year…I was wrong. We had to move to one of the gyms…(note: we should have moved to a classroom)

With a roster of 15 freshman, 4 sophomores, 4 juniors and 1 senior…(for the non-math majors that's a total of 24).

This year’s freshman class outnumbers any of the previous year’s entire roster!!

T-Minus 1 Week...

Greetings! It has been a super long time since our last season ended!!

I am awfully excited for the 2008-2009 season to get underway. We had a great building season last year and with a HUGE freshman class this year we should continue to see our program grow by leaps and bounds.

We have 1 week until our first team meeting.
