Practice #1 is Monday

It is time to start updating the blog on a more regular basis...finally!

We have had all our meetings...team meeting, LHU administration meeting and a 1-on-1 goal session meeting. The women have had their first team only team building activity. Our swim lesson program is a week old and going very well. The only thing left now is to start practicing...finally!

Here is the first workout of the season. I always give it out to the team before they leave for the summer (mailing the incoming freshman a copy as well) so no suprises await on day 1.

200 swim/100 kick x 3 (no board)
8 x 75 drill/kick/swim @ 1:30
(can't do same stroke 2 times in a row)

12 x 25 im order @ :35
(every 3rd is fast)

125 easy

4 x 50 AO from a dive
(1 each stroke)

6 x 100 @ 1:50
odd k/s by 50
even s/k by 50

5 x 50 @ 1:00 build to AO
75 easy

200 AO for time
100 eash
50 AO choice for time (best stroke)

300 WD (3700 total)

A lot of what happens on Monday will determine just how hard we will be working for the preseason phase.
