Wednesday Afternoon Work



Practices have begun and the women are working hard! We have been lifting 3 times a week this season instead of just 2, and I think we will see dividends right away from this extra work! 
 
The set below is the one we did at yesterday afternoon’s practice. The set is continuous, rest is built in. What was so great about it was that after a hard day of lifting at 6am and a full practice, the women really got up to race as a team. We have time trials on Saturday morning and I am looking forward to seeing where their times will be at heading into the season!

5                       drill @ 1:50

6                       kick @ 2:00

7-10                d 1-4 stroke @ 1:40

11                    @ 2:00

12-15               make it @ 1:20

16-17               @ 2:00

18-20               IM @ 1:40

21-25               breakout/finish @ 1:30

26-30               kick @ 1:50

31                     @ 2:30—put on paddles and fins

32-36               @ 1:20 make it

37-39               @ 2:00-Remove paddles and fins

40                     ALL OUT from block
