This week’s Throw Back is of LHU’s very first trip
to the NCAA meet, featuring former swimmer Amanda Terray!
On this trip, which can be viewed in its entirety HERE,
Terray enjoyed some very fast swims at the University of Missouri that brought Haven Swimming to the national stage for the first time!
On her way to several lifetime bests, this meet was
highlighted with a 3rd place finish in the 200 Backstroke—with a
school record that still stands at 2:01.95. She also placed 6th in the 100
Backstroke (57.11, a school record at the time that Amanda lowered 2 years later
in Canton Ohio…more on that later!), leaving Columbia Missouri a freshmen 2
time All American...Haven Swimming’s first.
