Finals are just finishing up, and I would like to recap the annual Haven Athletic Department picnic that took place last week.
Senior Britt Rehrig was presented with two major awards on
the night.
With a GPA of 3.992, she was awarded the Senior Female Scholar
Athlete amongst all sports. That is an amazing honor, and she is pictured with
the other Scholar Athletes. Haven Athletics is not just about what goes on in
the pool/field/track/court, its in the classroom too.
The second award was the Haven Athletics Coaches Award (as
voted on by all coaches). This is not an easy award to win, and it was great to
see Britt take it! She has made her mark on our program and school. We are
incredibly proud to see any athlete get hardware at a banquet, and the fact
that it is for performance AND academics.
Great job to ALL Haven Athletes, and Congratulations again
