Re-Cap

This weekend we totaled 4 new school records, 5 all time top 5 performances and a large number of season/lifetime best swims!!  With that being said, we are awhile away from our next swim meet so I will try and make the blog a little more "fun" and include more stories about the team etc.

One thing I will say about our team is that we are very supportive of each other while we race ... I like to look around at these types of meets and see what other teams do, more often than not most teammates are sitting down without a clue of what is going on ... I once saw a dude napping DURING a meet.  We have an amazing TEAM who support each other, and it is fun to see!!

Night Session

Started with the 1650 and our lone miler Kasey Campbell swam a great race. Finishing in about the same time as IUP.

The 200 back was a good event for us with Amanda Terray winning it and Ashley Gardner & Allison Schaefer dropping time.

The 100 free was a great event for us and the 200 fly too. 400 free relay capped off our night finishing 2nd.

Dinner was a small fest at taco bell and/or sheetz. Miracle is the movie of choice. I am going to rest my eyes now. GREAT 2 days of swimming!!

Morning

We spent this afternoon chill-axe-ing at the grove city outlets or on the bus.

A few highlights...

Our 200 med relay broke it's 2 week old school record this morning.

Jenna Brooks and Britt Rehrig went 1-2 in the 100 fly.

Sam Durham qualified for PSAC's in the 200 free. Lisa Esachina and Allison Schaefer both dropped some time as well.

Britt Rehrig won the 100 breast with Sarah Navarro and Brittany Williams going season best times!!

Amanda Terray won the 100 back and Ashley Gardner swam a season best time.

Brittany Williams and Rachel (Santa Claus) Vagnoni timed trialed the 50 free, both going super fast.

Travel

Had a nice lunch stop in Clarion ... checked in with no problem and the team has a good 2 hours of rest and a relaxing shave before we head to the pool.  I am really looking forward to seeing the team race tonight!!
